Welcome to the Division of Information Technology (DoIT). We are fulfilling our mission to strengthen and support the University's teaching, learning, research and engagement activities by delivering and integrating innovative technology solutions and processes.
Just as Southern University and A&M College offers more than education, DoIT offers more than information technology. Our team of dedicated and talented people are redefining IT in higher education. Recognizing the dynamic nature of IT and the accelerated pace of change around the world, we are consistently evolving our approach in delivering innovative technology that sets Southern University apart. We are also equipping our students, faculty and staff with leading technology capabilities, providing our decision-makers with timely and relevant information, and delivering an exceptional experience through quality and service management strategies while cultivating a skilled workforce and building a culture we all are proud of.
Our team provides campus wide infrastructure services, including systems and operations, networking, telecommunications and applications development. In addition, we provide instructional technology support and client support for our students, faculty, staff and administrators.
We play a significant role in the university's strategic planning process developing our plans to support the achievement of the university's strategic goals and objectives.
